Police agencies throughout Oneida County will be out in force to crackdown on drunk and impaired drivers during the Super Bowl weekend.

Oneida County Stop DWI is partnering with all area police departments along with the Oneida County Sheriff's Department and New York State Police to look for drunk, distracted and impaired drivers.

"As we get ready to celebrate America's most watched sporting event, you can help make a difference by having a plan," Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente said. "Download our new mobile app - 'Have a Plan' and you will always be able to find a safe ride home. So root for your favorite team, enjoy your friends and family and remember, always have a plan to get home safely."

The crackdown is funded by a grant from New York State Stop DWI Foundation.
