Arrest Made In Anna-Rose Shove Death Investigation

New York State Police have arrested a Baldwinsville man in connection with the August 10 death of 17 year old Anna-Rose Shove.

32 year old Steven Szatanek is charged with 2nd Degree Murder and 2nd Degree Manslaughter after an Oswego County Grand Jury handed down an indictment on October 30.

Szatanek was arrested at the Groveland Correction Facility on November 4, where he had been serving time for a parole violation since shortly after the alleged homicide.

Shove's body was found washed up along a state owned beach on Lake Ontario in August.

Szatanek is next scheduled to appear in Oswego County Court on November 7.
