Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi Receives Endorsement from State Comptroller

It may be too early to start thinking about the 22nd Congressional, but after all it is the New Year.

It's not too early for one state official. New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli has officially endorsed his choice for the 22nd Congressional seat.

DiNapoli has thrown his support in the direction of Democratic Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi. DiNapoli himself is a democrat.

In a statement DiNapoli says, "Throughout his time in the legislature, Anthony has been a strong advocate for the families of Upstate New York. He has helped create and protect Upstate jobs and has fought to ensure students and teachers have the resources they need."

Brindisi is facing the incumbent Republican Congresswoman Claudia Tenney in November. As of right now, neither Brindisi or Tenney have primary challengers.
