Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi is announcing the first ever Youth Advisory Panel meeting in an attempt to get students involved in the statewide decision making process.
Discussion at the meetings will center around educational issues like funding, standardized testing, and student loans.

Brindisi also wants to discuss his push for a new diploma that embraces vocational paths to trade careers.

Area schools have each chosen 2-3 11th and 12th grade students that have expressed interest in government and politics to participate in the advisory panel.

The meeting will take place on December 12th from 4:30 to 5:30 at the Rome Free Academy Library.
