Assured Information Security In Rome Earns $7 Mil Subcontract

Rome, NY (WIBX) - A new subcontract from Lockheed Martin is helping a Rome business continue to grow and operate.

Assured Information Security has received a new $7 million subcontract for one base year, with four option years.

AIS will assist Lockheed Martin in providing cyber forensics and information technology solutions to the Department of Defense's Cyber Crime Center.

Digital forensics experts and software engineers will also perform research and development work for the DoD, to assist in counterintelligence analysis.

AIS employs about 170 employees throughout its seven U.S. locations.
