Jed Lowrie singled-in Jordan Schafer with go-ahead run in the eighth to send the Astros to a 4-3 win over the Mets on Monday night.

Lowrie's seventh RBI of the season came off of Manny Acosta (0-2), after New York's three-run rally to tie it in the top half of the seventh.

Mets center fielder Andres Torres had a hit, a run and an RBI in his first game since suffering an Opening Day calf injury. Kirk Nieuwenhuis, who moved to left field with Torres' return, stayed hot, capping New York's a three run rally with a bases-loaded, two-out, two RBI single.

R.A. Dickey threw six innings of three-hit, three-run ball. The biggest, a Matt Downs two-run blast over the short field in left to put Houston up 3-0.

Brett Myers worked the ninth to save it for reliever to save it for Fernando Rodriguez (1-3).
