ATV Accident In Harrisburg Claims Life Of Man

A Harrisburg man is dead after State Police say he flipped his ATV.

The victim, a 75 year-old man, was riding his ATV on private land along Cobb Road on Wednesday morning, when he tipped the vehicle while trying to back it on a slope.

He was found unconscious and unresponsive by a family friend at around three Wednesday afternoon, and later pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim's name is pending on notification of family members.

State Police were assisted by the Lewis County Sheriff's Department and Lewis County Search and Rescue.
