WIBX Program Director/Brand Manager Jeff Monaski is also the co-host of Sportswatch, weeknights at 6:00. A graduate of Herkimer County Community College, he started working for WIBX and sister-stations Big Frog 104 and Lite 98.7 very early on at HCCC. Jeff's time at WIBX has included a stint as News Director, Reporting on local news events and co-hosting First Look. Although, born in Kentucky, Jeff is a New Yorker - and big fan of the Mets, New York Giants and the Knicks. He lost the use of his legs when he was just four years old. Interestingly, it wasn't the grenade explosion that shot shrapnel into his back which cost him the use of his legs, it was the ambulance taking him to the hospital which hit a 'bump' and crashed into a lake, causing a severe spinal cord injury.
