Latest US Census Shows Fewer Children Making Up the Population
If your airline flights and restaurant meals seem a bit quieter, it's not your imagination.
The 2010 census reveals children now comprise only 24 percent of the US population, a two-point drop in the past 20 years. Experts predict it will fall another percentage point by 2050, while the group comprised of people 65 and older is expected to rise from 13 percent to 19 percent due to the aging of baby boomers.

Dr. David Ludwig, an obesity specialist at Harvard-affiliated Children's Hospital Boston, made this recommendation Wednesday in highly respected 'Journal of the American Medical Association.'

US Soccer Team Advances to Finals of the Women’s World Cup [VIDEO]
Abby Wambach scored the go-ahead goal, and the United States woman's soccer team defeated France on Wednesday, 3-1, clinching a spot in the finals of the Woman's World Cup.
After the US took an early 1-0 lead, France began dominating the game's possession, finally scoring an equalizer in the 55th minute. But Les Blues weren't able to further capitalize on what ended up being a 25-11 shots-on-goal advantage.

Doctor’s Assistant: Tiger Woods Did Not Receive Performance-Enhancing Drugs
Anthony Galea did not provide Tiger Woods with performance-enhancing drugs.
That was the message from Galea's former assistant, Mary Anne Catalano, through her attorney Ron Personius on Monday. Galea, a Toronto doctor with known ties to high-level athletes such as Woods, Alex Rodriguez, and Carlos Beltran, pleaded guilty last month to importing misbranded and unapproved drugs -- including human growth hormone -- into the U.S.

Search and Rescue Group Files Civil Suit Against Casey Anthony
The search and rescue group that organized the search for Caylee Anthony has filed a civil suit against her mother, Casey Anthony, to recover money spent in the search to find the girl.
Anthony, 25, was found not guilty in her daughter's 2008 death last week and is scheduled to be released from prison on Sunday after receiving credit for time served on a four-year sentence, CNN reported.
