YORK, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say a two-car crash in western New York has left one person dead.

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office says the crash occurred around 3:15 p.m. Thursday on Route 63 in the town of York, 25 miles southwest of Rochester. The driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities didn't immediately identify the victim.

It's unclear if anyone else involved in the crash was injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
