Authorities Investigating Powdery Substance Sent To MetLife In Oriskany

Oriskany, NY (WIBX) – Whitestown Police are saying that postal authorities, the Utica Fire Department, and the FBI are investigating a powdery substance sent to the MetLife Building on Oriskany Road.
The envelope was discovered by an employee and the building was evacuated for a short time. Testing is being done to determine whether the powder is hazardous.
