Law enforcement agencies are investigating what they have described as "a suspicious death" of a teenager in Central New York.

UPDATED 12:56- A man and woman from Clayville are in the Oneida County jail on first-degree manslaughter charges.

The Oneida County Jail inmate list shows 65-year old Bruce Leonard and 59-year old Deborah Leonard were charged this morning.

New Harford Police have not confirmed whether the arrests are related to the suspicious death of a 19-year old.

The teen was was brought to Faxton-St. Luke's Hospital yesterday afternoon in a private vehicle with extensive injuries.

He was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police are expected to release more information on the investigation this afternoon.

According to a written release from New Hartford Police, a 19-year-old man was brought by private vehicle to Faxton Saint Luke's Hospital on Monday, October 12, 2015 at approximately 12:30pm.

The young man, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.  Authorities say that he had "extensive injuries" when he was brought to  the hospital.

An investigation is being conducted by New Hartford Police and New York State Police.

Several people are being interviewed to determine what happened to the man.
