Residents in the Sherburne community are still in shock after hearing about the death of former Sherburne-Earlville principal Keith Reed, Jr.

Reed's body was found in woods behind his home in Clymer, NY, on Monday morning. An autopsy Tuesday confirmed that 51-year-old Reed died of multiple gunshot wounds.

His death was ruled a homicide. Reed had moved to Clymer in Chautauqua County a year ago after taking a job as superintendent at Clymer schools.

The sheriff's department, joined by the FBI, returned to the scene to look for clues. No motive for the homicide has been uncovered.
