Award-winning Filmmaker Coming To Clinton

Clinton, NY (WIBX) – A 1965 Hamilton College graduate will be presenting his latest documentary next week at the college.

Filmmaker David Grubin’s documentary ‘The Buddha’ will be screened on the Hamilton campus next Monday, January 31,  at 7 p.m. and will be followed by a discussion.

‘The Buddha’ chronicles the life of Siddhartha Gautama, the spiritual teacher and founder of Buddhism. The film was originally broadcast on PBS in 2010.

Grubin has won 10 Emmys, two Alfred I. Dupont awards, three George Foster Peabody prizes and four Writer’s Guild prizes.

The event is free and open to the public.
