Binghamton Mets outfielders Michael Conforto and Brandon Nimmo have been named to play for the U.S. Team at the 2015 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game on Sunday, July 12 at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.  This is the 17th year for the Futures Game which puts the top prospects in professional baseball on the national stage during Major League Baseball's All-Star Week. Both Conforto and Nimmo have had excellent starts for the B-Mets this season.  Conforto is hitting .346 with two home runs and 13 RBI in 22 games with Binghamton.  Nimmo makes his second appearance in the Futures Game.  He played for the U.S.Team in 2013 at Citi Field. Nimmo is hitting .317 with two home runs and 11 RBI in 40 games with the B-Mets.  He was sidelined for four weeks with a sprained ACL.

Conforto and Nimmo  are the seventh and eighth B-Mets to be named to play in the game in the last five seasons.  Kevin Plawecki is the most recent B-Met player awarded the honor.  He was named to play in 2014.
