Bad Haircut Leads To Alleged Stabbing

A Utica woman is facing charges after allegedly stabbing another woman over a bad hairdo.

Utica Police say 20-year old Cheryl Lynn stabbed the woman in the neck, shoulder and chest.

Police say Lynn felt that the woman did her hair poorly and wanted her money back.

They say the two women got into an argument at a house party and later fought on the street, where Lynn stabbed the victim.

Lynn is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
