The Bank of Utica is celebrating the completion of a 1 million dollar renovation of its Genesee Street building.

A ribbon cutting was held last night to commemorate the grand exterior building reconstruction that included replacing the building's exterior siding and other behind the scenes repairs and upgrades.

Bank President Tom Sinnott says aside from the new facade the bank is now ready for build outs if the bank ever decides to expand.

He also said that the Bank of Utica plans to be a part of the Utica area for a long time to come.

Sinnott added that he would like to tip his hat to Buck Construction for their exemplary work on the project.
