Two-time NBA All-Star Baron Davis was last seen writhing in pain after suffering a knee injury while playing for the New York Knicks last May. A stylish dresser throughout his pro career, Davis, 33, never officially retired, but now he's headed to the Esquire Network (formerly G4) to host a TV show about athletes and other cultural professionals who are setting trends for today's men.

Davis will host 'How I Rock It,' the working title for the Esquire Network show developed by Ryan Seacrest Productions and Citizen Jones. The half-hour show will be part of the re-branded network's effort to reach the upscale male demographic.

With Baron Davis and Ryan Seacrest screaming upscale male, perhaps it's just a matter of time before we have Russell Westbrook and Jeff Probst playing 'Celebrity Hide-And-Seek' on Fifth Avenue for Esquire Network.

Let's hope Davis can fulfill his on-camera promise better than he did his NBA potential. As the third-overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft, Davis never quite ascended to the elite point guard status expected of him coming out of UCLA.
