Beastie Boys “MCA” Has Died Of Cancer

New York, NY (WIBX) - Multiple news agencies are reported the death of Beastie Boys co-founder Adam "MCA" Yauch.   Yauch had been in treatment for cancer since 2009.

The Beastie Boys were just inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland last month. Yauch did not attend the ceremony due to his illness, but did send a letter that was read to the crowd.  Adam Yauch was 47.
