The head coach who seems to have a beat on every detail of NFL rules and regulations is claiming ignorance on his team's so called deflate-gate scandal.

Bill Belichick addressed the media Thursday saying he's learned more in the last three days about air pressure for game balls than ''...than I knew, or had talked about it, in the last 40 years that I've coached in this league."

The New England Patriots' are cooperating 'fully and completely', Belichick said, with every request related to the NFL's ongoing investigation into why 11 of 12 game balls used by the Pats' in Sunday's AFC title game were inflated below league specifications.

Furthermore, Belichick, who could offer 'no explanation', shockingly seemed to pass the buck to his future hall of fame quarterback, Tom Brady. You know, the single player most responsible for New England's run of conference dominance that now includes six AFC crown's in the last 13 seasons, along with three, and possibly a fourth, Lombardi Trophy.

"I think we all know that quarterbacks, kickers, specialists have certain preferences on the footballs," Belichick said. "They know a lot more than I do. They're a lot more sensitive to it than I am. I hear them comment on it from time to time, but I can tell you, and they will tell you, that there's never any sympathy whatsoever from me on that subject. Zero.

"Tom's personal preferences on his footballs are something that he can talk about in much better detail and information than I could possibly provide."

Kind of makes you wonder if Brady is thinking: ''You're welcome, coach?!?!''
