SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities in upstate New York say a bicyclist has been injured in a crash involving a police vehicle.

The Post-Standard reports (http://bit.ly/2utN0df ) two Syracuse police officers were responding to an emergency call around 5 p.m. Monday when they collided with a bicyclist.

Sgt. David Sackett says the victim was taken to a hospital where he remains in critical but stable condition.

The officers involved in the crash were treated for minor injuries.

Syracuse police have not released the identities of the victim or the police officers involved in the crash.
