Bicyclist Struck By Vehicle In Town Of Trenton

Trenton, NY (WIBX) - A bicyclist is in stable condition after being struck by a driver in the town of Trenton.

According to State Police, Frank Colby, 70, of Holland Patent, was traveling westbound and up a hill on Mapledale Road, when he attempted to dismount his bike.

Colby entered the westbound driving lane and was struck by Amy Locke, 39, also of Holland Patent, who was unable to see Colby because of sun glare and his dark clothing.

He was taken to Saint Elizabeth's Medical Center with head injuries.

No tickets were issued.
