Bikers For Babies Ride Tomorrow

Marcy, NY (WIBX) - Kickstands are up this Saturday for Bikers for Babies.

It is the 20th anniversary of the event which has raised more than $1.5 million for the March of Dimes.

Ten year-old Casey Hunziker will be riding shotgun with her mom's boyfriend, Ride Director Phil Trela.  Trela has two nephews who were born prematurely, Owen and Benjamin Trela.  Hunziker, who is this year's Ride Ambassador, was born eight weeks premature.  The ride calls attention to the need to continue to raise funds for the March of Dimes but also to help discover the reasons why so many babies are born prematurely.
