The Buffalo Bills have found their next head coach.

ESPN reports the Bills have agreed to a deal with Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Sean McDermott.  The 42-year-old spent the last six seasons as DC in Carolina.

His Panthers teams have finished in the top 10 for total defense in four of the past five years.

McDermott will replace Rex Ryan, who was fired before the season finale last month.

The Bills finished the year 7-and-9 and missed the playoffs for the 17th straight season.
