Antonio Jenkins pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter in Broome County Court on Thursday.

Jenkins acknowledged he stabbed 22-year-old James Williams in the chest on the afternoon of July 16.

Investigators said the injured man was on a sidewalk in front of 194 Main Street when officers arrived at the scene.

Police had said the men were from Queens but had been living in Binghamton for about three months before the deadly argument.

Jenkins was arrested a few hours after the stabbing.

Sentencing has been set for December 1, 2015.
