Blood Donations Urgently Needed In Final Weeks Of Summer

The American Red Cross is urging bloods donors to give in the final weeks of the summer to help overcome a critical blood shortage.

Donors of all types are needed to give now to help ensure blood is available for patients in need.

Anyone who donates between now and August 31st will get a $5 Amazon.com gift card.

The Utica Blood Donation Center on Commercial Drive in New Hartford is open Monday through Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday through Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
