Blossvale Man Arrested in Connection with Rome Construction Thefts

A Blossvale man is in jail following an almost week-long investigation by police.

26-Year old Brett M. Parks of Miller Road is charged with burglary for allegedly stealing items that belonged to two construction companies in Rome, New York on December 5, 2013.  The objects were taken from a storage garage.

A suspect was identified by victims but trooper were unable to locate the man at that time.

New York State Police say that after taking the items Parks then sold the stolen property to a local salvage yard. He was found and arrested on December 11, 2013.  Parks was brought to the Oneida County Jail on $10,000 bail.
