A Blossvale man is facing DWI charges following a traffic stop in Verona.

State Police were patrolling on State Route 365 when they saw a Pontiac in front of them speeding and swerving. Troopers stopped the vehicle and questioned the driver, 30-year-old Herbert Marshall of Blossvale.

A strong odor of alcohol was detected and a sobriety test indicatd he was allegedly intoxicated. Marshall was taken into custody and is facing several charges including DWI, speeding, failure to keep right, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and refusal to submit to a breath screen.. He will appear in the town of Verona Court at a later date.
