Blossvale Man Who Reported Mother Missing Facing Charges

The Blossvale man who reported his mother missing is now facing charges.

Oneida City Police have charged 52-year old Tomas Zavalidroga with falsely reporting an incident for reporting his mother missing when he knew her whereabouts.

He was also charged with reckless endangerment for allegedly leading his mother Margaret into a wooded area and leaving her there for some time.

Margaret Zavalidroga was found in a wooded area near Lowe's in Oneida yesterday.

She was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Police say the investigation is continuing and additional charges may be pending.
