Blue Jays Sweep Two Game Series From Yankees

Jose Bautista and J.P. Arencibia each homered for the second straight night, powering the Toronto Blue Jays past the Yankees 4-1 on Thursday at Roger Centre, sweeping a short two series from the pinstripes.
Bautista and Arencibia each had two-run blasts – Batista’s tenth and the fifth for Arencibia.
Phil Hughes (3-5) was dealt the loss after 5 1/3 innings of seven hits, including Bautista’s two run shot.
New York’s lone run came in the first on Robinson Cano’s RBI-double.
Drew Hutchison moved to 3-1 with six innings of one-run ball.
Casey Janssen worked the ninth for his third save.
Blue Jays pitching held the Yankees to eight hits and two runs over the two game series.
The 20-18 Yankees will host the Reds in interleague action this weekend.
