Body Of Arthur Carney Found In Lake Delta

The body of the Rome man who had gone missing from his boat in June has been recovered.

Arthur Carney's empty boat washed ashore on June 25, 2013.  Search efforts had not turned up anything until people on the lake on Sunday, July 7, 2013 saw the body of the 62-year old from Elmer Hill Road floating in the water not far from where he was last seen alive.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Marine Unit removed the body and turned it over to the medical examiner for an autopsy.
