Utica, NY (WIBX) - A collection of organizations have banded together to support a group of service men and women who are planning a "shadow run" of the Boilermaker in Iraq on July 10th.

Boilermaker officials say a Rochester-based company will silkscreen 500 T-shirts that reveal the hidden messaage, "I Ran Iraq", when the shirt gets wet.

Braden Paper and Packaging in Clinton underwrote the cost to produce the T-shirts and Seifert graphics of Oriskany produced a start/finish line banner representing the various branches of the armed forces.

And Boilermaker finisher's pins will be provided to all race particpiants in Baghdad.

The Syracuse firm O'Brien and Gere will ship the items to Iraq.

To commemorate the event, a similar T-shirt with the hidden message, "I Ran Utica" will be available exclusively at the Boilermaker Expo on July 8th and 9th.
