Boilermaker Cap To Remain At 14K For 2013

Utica, NY (WIBX) - The cap for the 2013 Boilermaker Road Race will remain at 14,000 while the 5-K race will increase by 500 runners to 4,500.

The announcement was made Monday evening at the FX Matt Brewery.

Registration for next year's race will begin at 12:01 on Saturday, January 12th at www.boilermaker.com.

Executive Director Tim Reed expects both races to sell out fast.

Applications will only be taken on-line.

Meanwhile, the 2013 Boilermaker logo was unveiled.

It was designed by Micaela Altieria, a sophomore majoring in graphic arts at Mohawk Valley Community College.
