Utica, NY (WIBX) - The Boilermaker Expo will be at a new location this year, as Mohawk Valley Community College has stepped up its efforts for the annual event.
Members of the Boilermaker committee, along with MVCC president Randy VanWagoner were on hand to discuss the move from the Expo's former home at the Masonic Care Community.

VanWagoner says by hosting the event, the college has ingrained itself as one of the major supporters of the race.

"This is a natural progression, actually, of our relationship with the Boilermaker," VanWagoner said. "The Boilermaker, the race itself, coming by our campus for all these years. Getting involved with the Refugee Center and the international mile, hosting the elite runners for the last few years staying here overnight on campus, as well as the student competition for the Boilermaker logo."
