Boilermaker Field Continues To Grow

Utica, NY (WIBX) - With just under three months until the Boilermaker, 7,368 runners have signed up for the 15-K race.

Race officials say that's an increase of 362% over last year at this time, when just over 2,000 runners had registered.

There is a cap of 13,000 this year.

If the race were run today, it would surpass the total number of entries for the first five Boilermakers combined.

The 34th running of the Boilermaker takes place on Sunday, July 10th.
