With the 2015 Boilermaker in the books, race officials held their post-race news conference today.

Officials got together this morning to talk about yesterday's race and look ahead to next year.

President Tim Reed couldn't be happier with the way the weekend turned out.  Reed says when you put three good days of weather together, add in about 5,000 volunteers and a halfway decent plan, it's going to equal a really good event.

11,574 runners finished the 15K race, with about 1,300 runners receiving deferrals.  Personnel in the medical tent treated 168 runners on Sunday, which equates to one for every 9,000 runners.

Race Director Jim Stasaitis says while they're looking to make some tweaks for next year's race, don't expect any major changes, with the cap staying at 14,000.
