Boilermaker Registrations Near Four Thousand

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Nearly 4,000 runners have already signed up for the Boilermaker.

As of Monday, 3.936 runners had registered for the 15-K race, compared to 1,061 this time last year.

There is a cap of 13,000 runners this year.

Runners signed up for the race so far represent 39 states, the District of Columbia and Canada.

Applications are available at www.boilermaker.com and at the Distance Running Hall of Fame on Genesee Street.

The 34th running of the Boilermaker will take place on Sunday, July 10th.
