Boonville Man Shoots Himself While Hunting

According to State police in Remsen, a 20 year old Boonville man accidentally shot himself in the leg while hunting.

State police officials say Marc Donahue of Rome was trying to attach his rifle to a rope to raise it up to a tree stand when it went off.

Police say the safety on the rifle was off.

Donahue was hit in the leg and is in stable condition.
