Boston Marathon Bombing Suspect Caught [PHOTOS] [LIVE VIDEO]
09:01pm A round of applause to the Boston PD and law enforcement who took down the suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings.
08:47pm - It's OVER! Tsarnaev is found hiding under tarp in a boat parked in the backyard of a Franklin Street home. His condition is unknown but he's alive.

08:32pm Three people in custody according to Boston Globe.
07:48pm Police surround a building in the Franklin Street area. The situation is being described as extremely volatile. The suspect is believed to be inside a boat. Officials think he may still be wearing a suicide vest and are proceeding carefully.
07:29pm A CNN reporter on the scene is reporting that children are being carried out of a Franklin Street building. They are being taken to an ambulance waiting in a nearby parking lot.
7:19pm Residents in the Franklin Street area are being told to remain inside because of a "heavy police presence" in the area.
7:10pm Police have rushed into the Franklin Street, Watertown area. The lockdown has been reinstituted. The are reports that shots have been fired.
06:50pm Governor Patrick says residents must "remain vigilant" as a dangerous man is still at large.
6:16pm Mass transit is now operational. Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick is lifting the "stay at home" order. Officials, however, say that they are no closer to capturing "Suspect #2," Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, at this hour than they were earlier in the day.
Mayor Tom Menino says the community will "get through this crisis" together.

In a story on CNN's website, the suspects' father, Anzor Tsarnayev, is quoted as telling a Russian news agency that his sons were framed. "I don't know who exactly did it. But someone did. And being cowards, they shot the boy dead. There are cops like this."

2:35pm Reports are being received that a sister of the suspect, 22-year old Ailina Tsarnaev, is now being questioned by police. News 12 New Jersey spoke with the woman through a cracked door.
2:07pm Boston Police are now looking for a different car. Anyone who has seen a green 1999 Honda sedan, license plate number 116-GC7, is asked to call Boston Police immediately.
1:35pm The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency is telling workers to go home.
A message on the agency's website says "shelter in place" restrictions remain in effect but they do not prevent workers from returning home:

1:22pm The Boston Police Department says that the public should expect another controlled explosion this afternoon on Norfolk Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
1:07pm The Boston Police Department is extending its condolences to the family of MIT Police Officer Sean Collier, killed last night in the shootout.

12:55pm Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick is asking residents to remain safe and stay inside their homes as police continue searching for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Police Chief Ed Deveau is thanking citizens for their "exceptional patience and cooperation."
12:46pm Boston Police say sixty percent of their search is complete. They are asking the public to remain patient while they continue their investigation. The area lockdown remains in effect for Watertown, Massachusetts.
11:42am There are no updates on the law enforcement from but more information on the bombing suspects is emerging. The Boston Globe is saying it appeared that the "(b)ombing suspects were local, 'normal' US immigrants." According to a story written by Mark Arsenault, Patricia Wen, and David Filipov in the Globe, the two brothers came to the United States five years ago from southern Russia, near Chechnya "...and assimilated through school and sports into the Greater Boston community and culture." 26-Year old Tamerlan Tsarnaev is dead. 11:35amReports that police are "swarming" Watertown continue; guns are drawn.
11:01am University of Massachusetts Dartmouthis on lockdown after officials confirmed that the suspect was a student at the college. A "controlled evacuation" of the college has been underway since 10:28am.
10:50am Boston Police are reporting that the car has been found unoccupied. Taxi service in the city has been restored. Law enforcement authorities are examining the car for evidence:
10:35am Boston Police are now looking for a car with this license plate. It is a four-door 1999 Honda CRV, possibly gray. Authorities are asking anyone who has seen the car to immediately call them. The Boston Globeis reporting that residents of Watertown, Massachusetts should remain inside their homes. Police are looking for the suspect in the area:

Boston Police are saying a suspicious device was detonated safely near Comm Avenue and Charlesgate. An updated posting on the department's Facebook page warned residents that the community-wide lockdown remains in effect and warned residents to open their doors only to uniformed officers only.
