Boyfriend Of Catherine Koestner Arrested At Varick Street Bar

Utica, NY (WIBX) - The man who was with Catherine Koestner on the night of her death has been arrested for harassment, following an incident on Varick Street.

According to WKTV.com, Joseph Moore was arrested after Utica Police say a woman accused him of unwanted physical contact with her at the West Utica bar "Blu," early Sunday.

Moore had been dating Proctor High School teacher, Catherine Koestner, at the time of her death on August 25th.

According to State Police, Koestner died of a self-inflicted wound, though it has yet to be determined whether it was an accident or suicide.
