Utica, NY (WIBX) - Two local lawmakers are joining forces to talk about the area's water resources and future economic development.

Tomorrow, state Senator Joseph Griffo and Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi are gathering leaders from Utica, Rome and Oneida County to talk about the area's current water supply issues.

Cornelius Murphy, Jr., President of SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry will also speak to those attending.

Brindisi says he is "hopeful that this meeting can be a starting point toward a discussion with more of the stakeholders in the water issue."
