Joined by area homeowners and business representatives, Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi and Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente were at the Bank of Utica, touting Governor Andrew Cuomo's tax relief plan.

Brindisi says the Governor's tax cut package will provide real relief to struggling families across the state.

The tax plan unveiled by the Governor in his State of the State Address would freeze property tax bills for homeowners for two years.

Cuomo has also proposed a zero percent corporate tax rate for upstate manufacturers and a tax credit equal to 20% of the manufacturer's property tax bill.

Picente says cutting taxes is another step in the right direction for Oneida County.
