Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi has secured a $10,000 state grant for the Whitestown Senior Center.

The money will fund the purchase of equipment for the organization’s programs and activities.

Brindisi says the funding will help the center continue providing a variety of programs and events to its many participants.

“The Whitestown Senior Center is a vibrant, busy place providing a number of activities that keep participants active. Every time I visit, I am impressed by the large number of older adults who attend its programs.  The socialization and educational programs its members receive are excellent ways for them to stay independent and healthy, and remain active members of the community." said Brindisi.
