Brooklyn Man Arrested In Rome Stabbing Death

Rome, NY (WIBX) - Rome Police have made an arrest in a stabbing incident that left a Rome man dead.

Police say they found 20-year old Stephen LaPointe in the road in the area of Lawrence and Depyster Streets early Tuesday morning.

LaPointe had suffered numerous stab wounds.

He was taken to Rome Hospital, where he later died.

26-year old Terrance Dames of Brooklyn was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
