Broome County officials are releasing the number of overdose reports coming into emergency services since January first.

The County Executive’s office says 592 OD calls regarding any kind of substance including opioid drugs, non-narcotics, alcohol or any other material that can result in overdose were recorded through November.

The largest spike was in March with 85 reports.

Officials say the number of calls, on average, is almost two a day.
