Burning toast led to the evacuation of the Oneida County Office Building this morning.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says a fire alarm on the 5th floor was activated and the building was evacuated just before 10:00.

The Sheriff's Office says burnt toast from the County Clerk's Office had set off the fire alarm.

The Utica Fire Department responded and determined the building was safe for re-entry.

There were no injuries reported.
