Bus Involved In Accident On Route 12

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Police say a Utica man rear-ended a Birnie Bus on the North-South Arterial near Oswego Street Tuesday afternoon.

Police say 48-year old James Halliday failed to see that traffic had slowed down ahead of him and struck the bus.

There were five Holland Patent School District students on the bus.

One of the students complained of neck pain and was taken to St. Luke's Hospital.

Halliday was issued a ticket for following too closely.
