The Hospice Butterfly release scheduled for today is still going on as planned.

The release will take place at Utica College at 6 p.m. indoors in the library concourse.

A ceremony with the reading of names of those who butterflies are being released for will be held inside before dashing outside between raindrops if necessary.

"Unfortunately we cannot control the weather and tomorrow does not look any more promising," said Hospice Bereavement Counselor Linda Clark. "Gathering together to remember honor loved ones is a tradition that Hospice has started and we are not going to let the weather stop us."
