Oneida, NY (WIBX) - State Police seized more than 200 packets of synthetic drugs in Canastota, following a several month long investigation.

According to the agency, synthetic drugs were being sold at multiple establishments in Madison and Onondaga counties. Yesterday, officers issued a search warrant at the "Stash House" located at 2368 State Route 31, in Canastota.

The search yielded 166 packets of "bath salt" and 67 packets of synthetic marijuana, worth approximately $4,800. Officers also seized $230 cash.

The State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team worked with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency and the City of Oneida Police Department on the case.
