Canastota Man Charged With Rape

A Canastota man has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a child.

Investigators with the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center say 37-year old Cory Mills had sex with a girl under the age of 15 in the Village of Vernon.

Mills is charged with rape.

He was arraigned and sent to the Oneida County Jailon $15,000 bail.

The victim has been offered counseling services through the Child Advocacy Center.
